"You're Egg-vited!"
Inspired by another SU' Demonstrator, Norma J. these were the invitations I made for the Easter gathering we hosted last weekend. Our gathering included a 120 egg hunt and a big breakfast brunch for thirteen people. It was a fun time! The kids especially enjoyed themselves. The bunny is created with various size Oval Framelits, the Small Heart Punch and Basic Black Marker. The greeting is computer generated that I then punched out with the Decorative Label Punch. Aren't the invites just the cutest? Thanks for the inspiration Norma! Happy Stamping!

Paying It Forward
A long time ago, my downline team member and friend, Kelli (Hi Kelli!) gave me a small gift like this when I had a lot on my plate at the time. I really appreciated the kind gesture and neat idea, so I decided to pay it forward. I too, know of a sweet friend who has a lot on her plate and decided to give her this little gift just to let her know I was thinking of her. The card is actually 3 x 3" in size and I used the stamp set, For The Birds for the image. The background consists of two embossing folders: Cloudy Day and Woodgrain. It's a little hard to tell, but I added our Glitter Glue around the perimeter of the punched scallop to add a little sparkle. I used multiple color markers to make the bird nest look as real as possible. Happy Stamping!

Look At Them Apples
With the few inches of snow we got last night and today, I couldn't help but try and think happy, spring thoughts. I used one of my all-time favorite sets (now retired) on this card, Season of Friendship. Oh how I LOVE that tree! I thought it would be fun to punch out various size circles out of Wild Wasabi and Real Red card stock and turn it into an apple tree. I even added a couple fallen apples on the grass. Want to know how I made them look so real? I used the candle from the Cupcake Builder Punch for the stems and leaves! How AWESOME is that! Another great idea for that punch we currently carry! Happy Stamping!

Flying High Thanks
Only 4 days left of Sale-A-Bration! Wow, the time has gone fast with this fabulous promotion! Don't miss out on earning some fantastic FREE items! Thought I would highlight one of the FREE sets you can earn, Vintage Verses. A great set with some wonderful phrases! I used the "THANKS!" stamp and Summer Starfruit ink to create a fun background for this card. I actually used the oval framelits and cut out an oval on the front to allow the hot air balloon from the You're Amazing stamp set to peek through from the inside. Too fun! Happy Stamping!

Sharing In Your Sorrow
The loss of a loved one is hard. Hopefully knowing that you have family and friends there to help support you in any way they can will help to ease the pain a little. My heart goes out to a close friend who lost a loved one recently. I used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set and lots of sponging to create this sympthay card for her. I know she reads this blog, so here's another HUG! Thinking of you...

Easy Thanks
Thought I would share a quick and easy thank you card today. The words are from the Word Play stamp set and I used my Apothecary Framelits to die cut it out. Punch out a few circles to give it a pop of color, add two small silver brads and a linen thread bow and voila! you're done. Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Cody!
A card for my nephew, Cody's birthday. I love this little wagon from the retired stamp set, The Wheel Thing. I stamped the presents from the I Dig You stamp set in the wagon and sponged a sky behind. Wondering how I made the Gumball Green curvy frame edges? I used the extra frame pieces left over from the Top Note die to create it! I thought to myself, what an awesome use of scraps! Sometimes

Blossom Trio
A bright and cherry card any friend would love to receive. I used the Bright Blossoms and Curly Cute stamp sets, along with the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches to make this quick and easy card. I added rhinestones on the top of each blossom to add a little sparkle. What a fun and quick card to make. Happy Stamping!

Retro Fresh
I am in love. Yep, in love with this fantastic color combination of Pool Party, Whisper White and Real Red! I consider it "Retro Fresh". I can envision a 1950's or 60's kitchen these colors. Love it! Two great stamp sets helped to make this great frienship card today: Perfectly Preserved and From The Heart. This card just makes me happy when I look at it! Happy Stamping!

Color Challenge
Thought I would play along with the Color Challenge CCMC242 over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com this week. I decided to keep my card clean and simple using this color combination. It's a little hard to tell with the lighting, but the purses are randomly stamped in all three colors.
Try challenging yourself to use a new color combination today! You might just surprise yourself how creative you can be. Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Emily!
Happy Birthday to my niece, Emily! She's having a fairy birthday party this year and since I don't own any fairy stamps, (can that really be true?!?) I had to create my own! I found inspiration from another stamper (thanks Amanda!) and this little fairy came alive. I used quite a few punches and embosslits to make it all happen.
Here is a close up of her and her wings. I applied our Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Glue around the border of each wing, and to her wand and shoes. One can never have enough sparkle, right? Happy Stamping!

Spring Trio
With the snow that came and went this week, I am anxiously anticipating the arrival of spring! I can't wait to get back outdoors. For today's project I used the Mixed Bunch and Vintage Verses stamp sets. I LOVE having a coordinating punch with stamp sets. It made punching out all three flowers so quick and easy! It's a little hard to tell, but the top half of the Whisper White card stock is actually textured with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder. Add Rhinestones to each flower center, and voila! spring has arrived (in my stamp studio at least)! Happy Stamping!

"If You Build It, They Will Come"
The title is a quote from the movie, "Field of Dreams" which is one of two movie locations that I've been to. It's a neat place to see (and only a hop, skip and jump away from where I grew up)! Anyway, today's card reminded me of that movie. I LOVE when you can get multiple uses out of a stamp! It's the BEST! For this card, I used the leaves from Summer Silhouettes to create a corn stalk. Who would have thought, huh? I stamped the corn from the Perfectly Preserved stamp set and achieved the look of Indian Corn by doing the "thumping" technique. I couldn't have asked for better results! Have you looked at your stamps in a different light lately? Breathe new life into them by using them in a whole new way! Happy Stamping!

Pink Palette
Feeling the love, I used various shades of pink on this card: Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, and Raspberry Ripple. Pairing those fun colors with two great sets: Hostess stamp set, Mixed Medley and One In A Million (this is a fabulous word set!). I even got creative with the inside too! Happy Stamping!

Simple "hi"
A simple and quick card that is super sweet! Three stamp sets were used to make this card: Betsy's Blossoms, Aviary and Fabulous Phrases. It's a little hard to tell, but I stamped "hi" on crumb cake then used the Small Heart punch to punch it out and pop it up on a dimensional. Happy Stamping!

Winging It Up
I opened my stamp cabinet and the set, Affection Collection was calling to me, "Pick me! Pick me!". After some contemplation, this is the card I created. My favorite part? The So Saffron background that has the wings stamped on it. I used Versamark and just eyeballed lining the stamp up to create this fun background. I added some depth and bling to the card by popping the hearts up on dimensionals and adding a rhinestone to each one. Did you notice the flag at the top is actually stapled on? Just a little of the unexpected! Happy Stamping!

Love in a Jar
I found out a sweet couple got engaged on Valentine's Day. {Congrats Taylor and Brandon!} Knowing they would be having a country themed wedding, I created this card to send them as a congratulations on their engagement. When I think country, I think mason jars. I LOVE them (espeically the antique blue ones)! I tried to replicate one here using vellum, markers and sponging. Love the way it turned out! And they loved it too! Happy Stamping!

Sending Some Love
Sent some much deserved love to a dear friend lately. I reached outside the box with this card's color combination: Cajun Craze, Marina Mist, Whisper White and Daffodil Delight. Overall, I think they worked well together! It's a little hard to tell, but I actually hand cut the frame out and stamped the birds on the inside and added texture by using our Natural Cotton ribbon. Happy Stamping!
