Dear, Sweet Shelli

Today's card was specially made for dear, sweet Shelli. Some of you may have heard that she was involved in a horse riding accident on Thursday. The horse she was riding stumbled. She was taken to the hospital where X-rays were taken, and she was diagnosed with a fractured wrist, pelvis, and collarbone. Poor dear! Sterling gave an update on her status and it will 6 to 8 weeks of no movement to let her bones heal before starting intense physical therapy. They are looking at her being back to full recovery by January.

Using the color challenge over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com for inspiration, I created this card to send to Shelli.

It's a little hard to tell, but there are diagonal scored lines in both directions on the Very Vanilla card stock of which I then stamped the image from Hello Lovely into each square. The scored lines made it easy to create the patterned background. Here's a close up:

Here's a sneak peak of the inside before writing my message.

I hope she likes the card. It really was made from the heart just for her and will be filled with lots of love and prayers as she recovers. Happy Stamping!
