A bright and cheery birthday card for my bright and cheery niece, Emma. Happy Birthday girlie! I come from a fairly large family, so it seems like every time I turn around there's a birthday on the horizon. I don't mind, I love em' all! But when their birthdays come, the older I feel. Oh, the diapers I used to change and now the oldest ones are already in college. It seems like yesterday I was welcoming them into the world. *sighs* Enough reminiscing for now, let's get back to this fun card!
I love the little cupcake from the Create A Cupcake set (#128520). I mean really, you can't go wrong with cupcakes! And the "Oh Happy Day!" greeting is from an oldie, but goodie set called Everyday Expressions. Love it! I had fun playing with the color scheme as well; it's a combination of Pool Party, Strawberry Slush, Whisper White and Crisp Cantaloupe. It screams spring to me! It can't get here fast enough!
