Creation Station Blog Hop - Alphas, Tags & Dies

Welcome! Can you believe the weather this week? Warm, warmer and then hot. But I really shouldn't complain, overall this has been a pretty decent and mild summer. I must admit though, I can't wait until until the slightly crisp days of fall. They are my favorite! For this round, our options were:

1) Use any of our alphabet sets
2) Alphabet themed projects
3) Highlight the use of tags, punches or dies in some way

Fun options this go around! I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

I thought I would highlight the use of our new Alphabet Rotary stamp. It's a wonderful value for the options that it gives you. You can spell anything! LOVE it! I thought it would also be fun to highlight the use of our Window Frames Collection framelits

I am loving the hostess set, Nuts About You. It's just a fun and whimsical set to play around with. So I thought, why not highlight the use of this set as well! I'm all about consistency you know! LOL I kept my first card pretty straight forward and simple with each of those items.

I am in LOVE with this color combination too! Did I mention that I'm ready for fall?

For my second project I thought I would bump it up a notch and turn the framelits into a shaker frame. There is a small handful of the punched flowers that you can shake around along with one heart. Both the flower and the heart are part of the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack. I stamped the tree from the Nuts About You set inside the frame three times to give the illusion of a jungle. Once again, I used my trusty Alphabet Rotary punch for the words. I thought it would cute to coordinate my words with the little nesting bird perched on the branch. Too stinkin' cute!

For my final project I thought it would be cute to make a little favor. This time showing how that same framelit can be turned into a tag! How awesome is that?! Here's a side view so you can see it better -

The fun part is that I took a pencil and curled the rounded parts of the framelit to give it more personality and depth. The tag itself is simply attached using the small clothespin I had on hand so it can be taken off easily and used for something else. Maybe on a "pay it forward" project?

I hope you enjoyed all three projects today. It's fun to see how you can use the same products in different ways. The color combination for all the projects included Tangelo Twist, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party and Whisper White. Don't worry, the fun is not over yet! Depending on where you started on this blog hop, you can go back and revisit Heidi's creativity or you can hop along to see what awesomeness Justin has to share with you today! Happy Stamping!

  1. Cute projects. I love the bird used in different ways.

  2. Such cute projects. Way to make use of the rotary stamp!!
