Day 1: Every stamper knows that you need a notepad and pen to take notes during the classes and what not at any Stampin' Up event. Here I created a fun monogrammed cover for it using the Leadership logo. That way, she'll always know what event her notes were from. It accompanies a matching pen, tic tacs (because good breath is always welcome in a room of 1,700 people), and a bottle of hand sanitizer (because frankly it comes in handy....a lot)! I got her the Caribbean Escape scented one as that was the closest we were going to get to it! LOL
Wondering how the notepad opened with the Burlap Ribbon I had around it? Look no further!
I got sneaky and added Velcro to the ribbon so it could easily be opened and shut. Plus the piece on the left hides the legs of the Antique Brad I attached. So it's dual purpose!
Day 2: I created a small little purse/tote out of the Top Note die and put three Sponge Daubers in a small cello bag. I also filled a small clear paint can with chocolate. Because we all know stamping and chocolate go hand in hand! That cute little heart I stamped on the purse flap and paint can tag is from the Sale-A-Bration set, Best Day Ever. Super cute set! Want to see what's on top of the paint can?
A flower I created using the Blossom Punch. I can't remember if I used 6 or 7 punched flowers to create it. Took a little time, but isn't it just pretty? And the perfect size for the lid!
Day 3: This day was "Watermelon Inspired." Inside a large cello bag I put a bag of watermelon licorice (Kelli, how did it taste?), one of those egg-shaped watermelon flavored lip balms that are all the rage right now, and a small watermelon shaped notepad. For the tag, I used the 'paint swipe' from the Work of Art set to create a watermelon slice and heart shaped seeds gave it a nice touch.
Day 4: This day was full of tasty treats and useful things! Wondering what is inside the box and metal tin?
Inside the box was two delicious Lindt chocolates - one Caramel Brownie and one Salted Caramel. Like I said, chocolate and stamping go together like Batman and Robin! I don't have any directions for the box, I simply measured the chocolates and from there created a box for them to fit into on the fly. Cause that's how I roll sometimes!
Inside the tin was 50 of the small clothespins that she can use on stamping projects. LOVE those little guys! Plus this tin is a neat way to store them and once she uses them all, she can fill it with something else. I coordinated the color of the chocolate box to the color of the tin; and the cover of the box to the tag. I can't help myself! I LOVE when things "go together"! LOL
Here's everything together. I LOVE creating and giving "pillow gifts"! She's such a wonderful friend, downline and roomie that she deserved all this and more! Thanks for the memories Kelli!
