"M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E." Okay is that jingle in your head yet? It was in mine when we received an invitation to a little boy's first birthday party. The invitation had Mickey Mouse on it so I knew I had to create a coordinating card to put along with the gift for the special birthday boy!
I thought it would be fun to spell out the word, "one" since that's how old he was turning. And I thought it would be more fun to incorporate Mickey as the letter "o". Three punches helped to create the Mickey: 1 3/4" Circle punch, 3/4" Circle punch and the Owl Builder punch. The candle is from the Big News stamp set. I stamped it in Versamark to create a fun background on the So Saffron Top Note die cut. I stamped one more in Basic Black ink, added a pop of color with the Real Red, Marina Mist and So Saffron markers to it, cut it out and adhered it with Dimensionals. Mickey is also adhered using Dimensionals. It's a little hard to tell but I texturized the large piece of Real Red card stock with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder. Super fun card to create for such a fun little boy! Happy Stamping!
