Sketch Challenge 9

I had a specific card in mind that I needed to make for a dear friend whose "road of life" has been challenging for her the last few months. I knew what I wanted it to say, but didn't know how I wanted it to look until I saw the sketch challenge over at Create with Connie & Mary this week. It was perfect!

I did change it from vertical to horizontal to allow for my words to fit better. I added a piece of embossed Delightful Dijon onto a folded piece of Delightful Dijon card stock for a tone on tone effect for the base of the card. Just something a little different. I love this lady with her hand on her hip from the Just Kidding photopolymer set (Item #140667). There are some great 'cheeky' quotes in that set that just make you giggle! Happy Stamping!

  1. What a fun card Jennifer! The ladies and quotes in this set really crack me up - such a shame it's not available to us here in the UK. I'm sure it will raise a smile with your friend too. Thanks for joining us over at Create with Connie and Mary for our Thursday Challenge this week!
