A sweet little boy I know had his guitar recital this past weekend. His parents videotaped it so everyone could see. He did an AMAZING job for being so young! So proud of you Ryan! I thought it only appropriate to make him a card fit for the occasion and pair it up with a delicious little treat. I freehand cut out the guitar shape in Crushed Curry card stock. I went to town sponging it to give it more of an authentic feel. My trusty Circle Framelits came in handy to mimic the opening. I cut Linen Thread and using a glue dot adhered each onto onto a small Circle Punch then onto the retired Modern Label Punch, which was the perfect shape for the string 'anchor'. I adhered the other end of the 'strings' onto the back of the guitar before adhering all of it onto a Basic Black card stock base. A perfect card for the budding musician! Happy Stamping!
