"A-Tisket, A-Tasket, A Brown and Yellow Basket..."

Anybody else remember that song? Had it in my head the other day as I was doing some stamping, so of course I just HAD TO apply it to this week's sketch challenge over at Create With Connie & Mary! I've said it once, and I'll say it again, "Inspiration is everywhere!" *wink wink*

I used the largest basket in the new Basket of Wishes stamp set that's in the Holiday catalog and filled it with a bunch of fall flowers. Fall is my favorite season. I could bask in it's glory all year round! *wink wink* I used Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizazz, Wild Wasabi and Pool Party Stampin' Write Markers to give it its fall colors. And of course what bird is showcased during the fall time? A crow of course! This sweet little guy is from the Cooke-Cutter Halloween stamp set also featured in the Holiday catalog. Add a few Crumb Cake splatters from my favorite Gorgeous Grunge set to really set off the focal points. I welcome you to play along with us this week. We'd LOVE to see your creativity in action! Happy Stamping!

  4. What a pretty card Jennifer! I love the little scalloped edges to your circles and the twine across the centre. I must confess I passed over this set on pre-order - I'm now wondering if I should go back and revisit!!
