Vintage Friendship
Hello stamping friends! Please forgive me as this post is going to be rather short today. I'm a bit under the weather. I've got the chills, no appetite, my ear is aching and I find it hard to stay awake for more than ten minutes. Blah! Hoping I can shake this soon!
I thought I would throw in a "vintage" type feel with today's color challenge at Create With Connie and Mary. I cut 1" squares of the three colors and adhered them onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then sponged Crumb Cake slightly all over to "dull" the colors a bit. I adhered that onto a piece of Early Espresso card stock and wrapped some Whisper White Baker's Twine around it before tying a bow and then adhering that onto a Whisper White card stock base. I chose this wonderful greeting from the Friendly Wishes set along with the little flower from the Live, Love, Grow set as the main focal point. First time I inked up that set since getting it! I also sponged Crumb Cake ink on this piece too and attached dimensionals on the back to raise it up. Happy Stamping!
