All Dressed Up for the Holidays

Today we're traveling from the warm tropical island of yesterday's card I shared with you to the bitter cold of the North Pole! I was inspired to use the new Letters For You set I had recently gotten when I saw this week's sketch challenge.

The slightly worn look of the letters reminds of a slightly old-fashioned classic Christmas. What's more classic that Frosty's hat and snowflakes from the Snow Place set along with punched holly leaves and berries from the Holly Berry Happiness set? I seriously had to stop myself from continuing to add more to this card. I wanted to dress up all the letters, one with earmuffs and another with a scarf.....but I refrained myself and kept it more simple and classic. Thanks for stopping by today, please make sure to hop on over to Create with Connie and Mary and check out all the other fabulous designers' ideas using this sketch and then share your own! Happy Stamping!

  4. This is definitely just DARLING!!!! It was funny, though...I had already made up my card for last Saturday's CCMC blog hop, then saw your card in the folder! I figured they were enough different...but we were on the same wavelength with the MERRY letters! Love how you alternated the colors, too! Great job with the sketch this week!

  6. Sorry I'm late on this one - a busy last week! This is such a great take on the sketch - I love the way you combined stamp sets and added your Christmas pretties to these bold letters. A fun card!
