Spring Please

Happy Thursday stamping friends! Winter is still being quite stubborn in these parts. Yesterday it was in the 30's and windy. Saturday is supposed to be in the low 70's! That's how it's been for a while now. Within 24 hours you can have a 10-20 degree temperature change. Up. Down. It doesn't matter. Last week was Jack's first snow day of the school year! Yep, middle of March and we get our first measurable snow of 8 inches. And now a week later, the daffodils are up! So hard to plan on anything when the weather is so unpredictable!

In the hopes of spring coming soon, I thought this week's color challenge lended itself nicely to a springy floral card. The Thankful Life hostess stamp set did just the trick! To add a touch more softness, I die cut the larger of the two Detailed Floral Thinlets in Whisper White card stock and adhered it onto the So Saffron card base. Four large pearls adorn the corners to anchor the vase of flowers. Simple and sweet. You can never go wrong with a combination like that! Happy Stamping!

  1. Have you ever seen one card that makes you think you need a stamp set? Well, that's what your card did to me! Now I'm looking at that hostess set thinking that I NEED it! LOL! The vase of gorgeous flowers looks beautiful against the elegant due cut background. The pearls in each corner was a nice touch too!
