Bold Popsicles

Oooh! When I saw these colors I knew I had to go a little more bold in my card this week. Are these not an awesome combination together?!? It's been a while since I highlighted a great background. Yes, I know. Me and my backgrounds go together like my friend, Kat and Wink of Stella. *wink wink* Hi Kat! She truly is the Wink of Stella Queen. 

I decided upon the Cool Treats stamp set and went to town. I used the "SWEET" stamp and inked it up in all three colors to create my fun and colorful background. Oh, how I do enjoy photopolymer stamps for their ability to line up easily and quickly! I created some fun popsicles in these colors, fussy cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. A die cut scallop edged square and straight edged square from the Layering Squares Framelits make for the perfect combination to add my main words to the front of this card. The only thing that is not from that stamp set are the words, "Yes, You!". That stamp is found in the Lovely Friends set. I like how it added a bit of sass to this already bold card. I finished it off with a bow of Lemon Lime Twist Finely Woven 1/2" ribbon. When I finished this card, I stood there and thought to myself that this could be for either gender. A pleasant surprise that wasn't initially intended. Awesome! Happy Stamping!
