Oh, Honey Bear!

I had my Downline Team gathering a few weeks ago and we created a cute card using the new stamp set, A Little Wild. Everyone liked the card so much that I decided to use a different concept of it with you this week! I changed the colors and layout but the main focal point stayed the same.

I LOVE this cute little bear from the stamp set! It takes no time at all to give him a little color with our Crumb Cake ink refill, an aqua painter and our Powder Pink marker. I thought it would be cute to have a hanging beehive above him to show where his bee friends came from. The branch from the Seasonal Layers Thinlets is perfect for this idea! Any thoughts on where I came up with the leaves? From the Fox Builder punch! You can make two leaves (one slightly larger than the other) with a little cutting from the one raccoon face punched piece, at least that's what I refer to it as. It's a little hard to tell but the bee wings are coated with our fabulous Wink of Stella. Love this little touch of shimmer! For the base of the card I chose Crumb Cake to balance off the color of the bear, then a piece of Soft Sky and a stamped strip of Island Indigo.  I just have to say that I LOVE it when you only use one stamp set to create a masterpiece! This week's sketch challenge lended itself perfectly for this cute creation. Happy Stamping!
