Hello stamping friends! We have been enjoying some nice warm weather this week. Ah, it feels good! Tomorrow is Ryan's birthday, so I decided this week's sketch challenge would be perfect for his card.
I wanted to highlight the Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper, so I took the time to hand cut out a dragon and knight from one of the pieces. I love the shimmer each one has. The only stamping is the sparkle on the Whisper White background from the Magical Day set and the words from the Labeler Alphabet set. I love how it turned out! Happy Stamping!

Hi stampers! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful valentine's day yesterday. I was surprised with a bouquet of white and yellow daisies from my boys. They know me well, as daisies are my favorite. *big grins*
Even though the stamp set I used is called, Lots of Lavender, I chose to color mine using Real Red ink and a blender pen. I cut off the long stems of two bouquets and made it more into a plant by fussy cutting extra leaves and putting them on the bottom. It gives the stamp a whole new look, don't you think? Since the word stamp is photopolymer (from the Colorful Seasons set) , I was able to manipulate it and curve it to follow the curve of the die cut stitched circle. Yeah! What a fun color combination this week! So fun, so cheerful, so lovable! Happy Stamping!

Hello stamping friends! It's rainy and snowy here on this chilly Super Bowl day. Who are you rooting for? Football isn't big in our household (now the Olympics is a whole other story...I LOVE me some Olympics...summer, winter...doesn't matter!!) so I will wish both teams good luck today!
With this month's Celebrations of the Heart theme, I thought it would be fun to create a slightly different size card. This is actually a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" size card so it will still fit in a regular size envelope. I decided to add a background of hearts inside a die cut scallop circle to anchor the focal point. The hearts are a stamp from the Weather Together set and inked in Melon Mambo ink. The cute panda is from a current Sale-A-Bration set, Panda Parade. Isn't it the cutest? I used my blender pen with Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo ink refills to give the envelope some soft color. I brushed Wink of Stella all over the panda's face and belly. The sparkle's in the corner are from the Magical Day stamp set, "Love" is from the Apron of Love set and the die cut "You" is from another Sale-A-Bration offering called Celebrate You thinlets. To go along with this fun little card I covered some mini candy bars with Pink Pirouette card stock that were stamped with hearts from the Apron of Love set in Melon Mambo ink. I added a bow of Basic Black Baker's Twine to both items as a finishing touch. Have fun hopping along to see what fabulousness Julie has in store for you! Happy Stamping!

This week I am preparing for my BIG downline stamping day that is next weekend. I hold regular gatherings for my fabulous team every 6-8 weeks, but at least once or twice a year I plan a bigger scale event event that lasts an entire day. It's a lot of work to prep for, but I LOVE every minute of the day! Inspired by this upcoming event and the bold, bright colors for this week's challenge, I couldn't help but spread some "LOVE."
I inked up the "LOVE" stamp from the Labels To Love set and stamped it in rows to create a fun background. Using my Sweet and Sassy framelits, I die cut three different size hearts and on the largest I embossed the greeting from the Layering Love set with White Embossing Powder. I freehand cut the arrow that is behind the largest heart. For the finishing touches I added rhinestones and a baker's twine bow. These colors just make you happy! Love this combination! Happy Stamping my friends!
