Inspired By Robin

I had a wonderful downline team gathering last week. Oh how I love my gal friends! They know how to make a girl's day, especially during a chaotic fair week!

Today's card is inspired by Robin. Not only for the saying, but the stamp set, Abstract Impressions is on her "must have" list. Plus, she is a lover of all things green so I used Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green. I used Gorgeous Grape at full strength and stamped off to create the two tones of purple. Two other sets I used were Beautiful Bouquet for the single flower stem and Calls For A Celebration for the words. While I was at it, I added texture to the large piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock with our new Tufted Embossing Folder. The card is so lively with bold colors, just like Robin! Love ya' girl! Happy Stamping my friends!

In Honor Of Pharoah

Only a couple more days of our county fair left. It's been a long, hard week, but just as fun and enjoyable as well. One more cow show tomorrow will finish up our showing part. Jack earned a First Place Blue Ribbon on all 3 of his Home Arts projects he entered! He was soooo happy! I earned 2 First Place Blue Ribbons and 2 Second Place Red Ribbons for mine. Not too shabby! And various ribbons on our animals including a Purple Champion Ribbon for Fitting and Showmanship in the lightweight division. It was on 425 pound calf, Pharoah who simply wants to be loved, rubbed and petted everywhere by everyone. He is such a good looking and gentle animal. We are so happy that he was the one that one it all!

And now for a little stamping today. This fun color selection had me thinking something summery. In honor of our dairy steer, Pharoah, I thought a milkshake with some colorful "cow spots" (polka dots) seemed appropriate! Sets I used were Wood Words, Coffee Cafe and Calls For A Celebration to bring this card to life. Simple and sweet just like Pharoah! Happy Stamping!

Blowing Out The Candles

We are knee deep in county fair projects here. Besides a plethora of home arts projects, we are also working and prepping some animals to go as well. Oh, how I love a good county fair! Although it is a ton of work to do before, during and after. I think I will deserve a day off after it's all said and done!

This week's sketch lended itself nicely to the row of candles in the 25 Again stamp set. Plus it was also great time to highlight some of our fabulous new In-Colors! I chose four out of the five to use: Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and my favorite, Blueberry Bushel. Anybody else getting hungry? Ha! Hope you have a great rest of the week. Happy Stamping!
