Creation Station Blog Hop - His & Hers

As we are now in the final countdown to the first day of school (46 hours to be exact), last minute preparations and basic chaos is in full swing! Still need one more thing on his school supply list, a pair of headphones. Hoping to head out today to find a pair he likes. *fingers crossed* In the meantime, it's time for another fabulous blog hop with the wonderful Creation Station Design Team! This month's theme is all about his and hers. We thought it would be fun to make one card layout for him, then change it up and do the same layout for her!

I admit, I deterred from this slightly and decided to make two cards using one stamp set, and one layout that could be good for him or her! I couldn't help it, that's where my creative juices took me and sometimes you just need to roll with it! Ha!

First up, I inked up the Harvest Hellos stamp set that is featured in the holiday catalog and decided to get in the pumpkin mood. Having a coordinating punch to punch these guys out makes it so much faster and easier. Love it! Colors used were Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Garden Green, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White.

Then using that same layout and stamp set I got in apple mode! I figured I would add a bit more whimsy and stamp a Red Delicious, Granny Apple Smith, and Golden Delicious apple. I must admit, Golden Delicious are my favorite. *wink wink* Colors used on this card were Real Red, Granny Apple, Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Basic Black and Whisper White.

And there you have it...one stamp set, one layout, two cards for him or her. Ta da! Thanks for stopping by today, hope you'll continue on to see what Julie's creativity dreamed up for this month's theme. Happy Stamping!
